Kumudben Madanbhai Sura Nursing School

This school came into existence in August 2002 through handsome donation given by foundation’s patron late Lion Madanbhai Sura in the name of his wife Mrs. Kumudben Sura. It is located at Ambi and is recognized by Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. It conducts 2 years revised ANM training for 12th class passed girls. Girls from backward classes and from undeveloped areas like Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Bhandara, Gondia etc. are given preference and so also orphans girls from poor families. Scholarship is awarded by Govt. of Maharashtra to BC, OBC, SC students.The girls are given quality education and our results is almost 100% with many girls achieving distinction, 1st class.

Mrs. Vimal Mutha Grooming Academy

It is located in the premises of Foundation’s Destitute Rehabilitation Centre at Bilarewadi, Katraj, Pune. The Academy provides poor girls, boys and women free training in computer operations, bakery, sewing, embroidery and the like with a view to promote self-employment and self-reliance.

Smt. Achala Sachadev Institute of Education

This institute has been created through the generous donation given by late Smt. Achala Sachadev, veteran Hindi actress. Presently 4 months in-house wardboy aaya training courses are conducted for poor 8th class youth. Course is structured to give them information about cleanliness, hygiene and use of various equipments to facilitate easy employment. Successful candidates are awarded certificates and employment assistance.

Shri S.P. Malhotra Skill Development Hub

This hub was constructed with sponsorship from our Patron Bahri Shri B.R. Molhatra, Trustee Shri Ashwini Malhotra, Shri Mukesh Malhotra and the Malhotra parivar. Various types of skill development activities are carried out free of charge by this centre e.g. computer training, tailoring, stitching, etc. for poor youth. Driving training is given to boys and specially to girls through tie up with various driving schools.

Research Centre

Research center which is managed by Research Committee headed by Dr. Subhash Salunke, former Regional Adviser, WHO-SEARO. This centre has produced presentations, research papers / articles and books. Foundation complete Rural Ageing Research Project in 32 villages and did health check up of more than 1200 senior citizens and based on it a research paper titled ‘The Challenges of Ageing in India’ written by Dr. Gururaj Mutalik, former Director, WHO (USA) and Dr. Vinod Shah was submitted and a research book was published – Healthy Aging and Longevity (HEAL) In the year 2014-2015 Janaseva Foundation along with Duke University of North Carolina, USA and Institute of Public Health Foundation of India, has completed a Research Survey on Socio Economical and Health Assessment of elderly in rural villages in Maharashtra.
